In 1942, Lin Bozhu, director of Beidaihe Coastal Scenic Area Administration, built it and sold it to the Japanese Eastern Jincaoyan. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was nationalized. In the 1950s and 1960s, He Xiangning used to work in the summer office for many times and was called He Xiangning Villa.
The villa is a Chinese-style building, with a hard mountain and a front roll-up roof, and small ear houses are built outside the ear houses on both sides. According to research, this is because Lin Bozhu was the director of the Beidaihe Seaside Scenic Area Administration during the Japanese and Puppet regimes, and he needed to communicate with the Japanese frequently. When Lin Bozhu interacted with the Japanese, the translators and documents worked in the small ear room.
